Perform the following settings:

Kindly ensure whether the DSC is installed in the machine :
(Steps to check the DSC : Go to Internet Explorer --> Click on Tools --> Internet Options --> Click on the Content tab --> Click on Certificates -->Check for your installed DSC in the Personal tab.)

    JAVA Settings

  1. Go to Control panel --> double click the java icon -->

    1. Click on Security tab -->

      1. Drag the pointer to Medium --> Click on Apply--> Click on OK (For JAVA below 1.8 update 20 version (32-bit version) ).
      2. Select ‘High’ --> Click on ‘Edit Site List’ and add URL (https://onlineservices.tin.nsdl.com/TIN/JSP/security/Login.jsp) in exception site list --> OK (For JAVA above 1.8 update 20 version (32-bit version) )

    2. Click on General tab -->

      1. Click on settings -->‘Delete Files’ then enable all the options --> OK

    3. Click on Advanced tab -->

      1. Enable the Show java console --> Apply --> OK
      2. Click on Miscellaneous and enable 'Place java icon in system tray' -->Apply --> OK .
      3. Enable the settings Use SSL 3.0,Use TLS 1.0,Use TLS 1.1,Use TLS 1.2 --> Apply --> OK.

    4. Click on Update tab -->

      1. Uncheck the option check for updates automatically --> pop up message will appear i.e. check for monthly or do not check, click on do not check option & proceed further.

Internet Explorer (Browser) Settings

  1. Go to Internet Explorer --> Click on Tools --> Internet Options -->

    1. Click on General tab -->

      1. Click on Delete button --> Delete by enabling all the options except password.--> Apply .
      2. Click on settings --> click on view files --> select & delete all the files.

    2. Click on Advanced tab -->

      1. Enable the settings Use SSL 3.0,Use TLS 1.0,Use TLS 1.1,Use TLS 1.2 --> Apply --> OK.

  2. Reopen Internet explorer and then try registration.
